TSR’s 1997 Marvel Super Dice Game
BoardGameGeek can tell you everything you need to know about the 1997 Marvel Super Dice Game, but what I find fascinating is just how deeply the hobby game market was digging into collectible games . . . even after the great CCG crash of 1995. When Magic: The Gathering exploded in 1993 everyone took notice, and in TSR’s final days they assembled and published this collectible dice game.
An Amazon.com search* for the game doesn’t really reveal any reasonable options for buying the game, eBay doesn’t seem to have any now, and the BGG page only shows one being offered, so I guess this means people just aren’t letting the game out of their sight. Does that mean it’s a good game, or does it mean Marvel fans collect anything imaginable?
