Tyco BattleTech Toys on Sale at ToysRUs in 1995

April 2, 1995. The Greenville News of Greenville, SC. After the BattleTech ad we saw earlier this week, I went back into the newspaper archives in search of more sales info on that old line. I think what is surprising me the most is that even though the line launched in 1994, the earliest newspaper entries I can find for the toys come from early 1995. I wish I could remember exactly when I first spotted these BattleTech toys at ToysRUs in the mid-nineties. I thought it was the summer of 1994, but maybe my memory is failing me.
