Under Construction: WordPress Assistance Needed
UPDATE: I now have help and changes are happening! More news once everything’s complete.
The new site design is coming together nicely (first mentioned here), but there is one massive change I’d like to make to the site that’s giving me trouble: I want complete posts to appear on the front page UNLESS I select the More option when drafting the post. The default for this theme — Path — shows a reduced image and only the first 60 words of the post on the front page and forces people to click through for the full post.
What I would rather have happen is for me to control when the site shows just a portion of the post on the front page. I know that it has to be frustrating to all of you to want to read a post and have to click it to see the entire thing and then use the back button to return to the other posts. I’d like to reserve the “click to see the post” for long features, any reviews, or posts with lots of pics.
Any WordPress experts out there able to direct me through the process of tweaking this Path theme to do what I want it to do? You can either post a comment below or use Contact to e-mail me directly. Thanks!

According to this, you would just add the “more” tag instead of setting it to display excerpts of posts by default.
Everything after the tag would be displayed after the jump.
I’m not familiar with the specifics of Path, but under the General WordPress Settings -> Reading you should have “Full Text” selected instead of summary.
woah! i wasn’t sure if i was at the right place! 🙂
