Using Turbo Tracks/Wheeljack to Create a Modern Transformers Backstreet
The Reveal The Shield Turbo Tracks*/Generations Wheeljack* mold has a lot of promise. Just looking at the design’s transformation and robot mode shows that it can be used to recreate a lot of Generation One characters; the club Runabout (last mentioned here) and Runamuck (last mentioned here) show just one way that the mold can be reused.
Well, while flipping through the Identification and Price Guide* I realized that with a new roof piece and by folding the wings down the mold could also be used to create a new version of the Triggerbot Backstreet. Take a look at my quick digital illustration that shows how this might look, and then see Triggerbot Backstreet at the TFWiki for the original design.
I know I’d buy this; the basic mold is one of the nicer designs in recent years and I’d be happy seeing another character — with a minor new piece — brought to life.
