Visionaries Action Figures at $1.99 in 1988
The ad where we found yesterday’s sale on GUTS also included this block for Hasbro’s Visionaries action figures, making it clear that the Raley’s Superstores clearance in 1988 was a tribute to failed toy lines of the eighties. In one ad we find Air Raiders, Brave Starr, M.U.S.C.L.E., GUTS, and Visionaries? How is that not an eclectic enough mix of boys’ toys of the eighties to trigger memories of “oh, that, right” and lead many of us to eBay?
