Visionaries Lancer Cycle at ToysRUs in 1987

The Fort Meyers News-Press newspaper issue of September 10, 1987, brings us this look at Hasbro’s Visionaries, specifically the Lancer Cycle listed at $12.99 and action figures for $4.99/each. Visionaries was one of many action figure failures of the eighties, and seeing this ad reminds me that I really should have a selection of Visionaries toys in my collection here at home. How is it that I have zero classic Visionaries toys? That feels like a mistake.
