Visiting Sterling & Burke in Washington DC
One of the cooler shops that Gina and I visited while in Washington DC was Sterling & Burke, a fine quality supplier of leather messenger bags, briefcases, gorgeous journals, and . . . well, just look through the Sterling & Burke website and see for yourself all of the awesome stuff.

The bag shown above is the one I ended up buying while we were there. The strap’s a bit shorter than I like, but when the regular price of $540 is reduced to $270 — and then you walk out with the bag for $212 — then it’s worth tracking down a new strap. This thing looks beautiful and is exactly the bag I should be taking to some of the more important meetings at places like New York Toy Fair and the Dallas Fall Toy Preview.
