Wall Street Journal on the Toy Marketing of Star Wars
The Wall Street Journal has posted a video and article about the toy marketing of Star Wars (find at Amazon.com*). I don’t completely agree with the post — especially the claim that Disney isn’t letting the merchandising accidents of The Phantom Menace in 1999 affect today’s film — but regardless of my opinions it is still a great read.
And, for the video viewers out there, there’s also this wsj.com video that’s about five-minutes long and discusses the merchandising of the new toys. Enjoy!
