Warpo’s Promotion of Legends of Cthulhu Was Excellent!
I’ve mentioned before how impressed I was with Warpo’s work on promoting thier Legends of Cthulhu action figures (Amazon.com search*, at Entertainment Earth*). Every step of their Kickstarter project was a profesional presentation, and even the act of taking the toys into distribution was a lesson in promotion for many of us.
For example, consider this article from last November’s Game Trade Monthly magazine. Now that’s a great combination of story and artwork!

I met the Warpo Team at C2E2 this year. They’re a group of great guys who have a vision and are passionate about what they are making (and selling). Despite their success, they seem grounded and were very approachable. They seemed to love what me and my Nerd City cohorts were doing across the aisle and even shopped at our booth. I love their whole presentation and especially love the retro catalog and coloring book nostalgia they are tackling. I look forward to their 12″ Cthulhu figure and to whatever they offer next!
I was just rooting around on their website yesterday, hoping to see some new info about what they’ve got coming next (after Cthuhlu).
