What is Happening With the Star Wars: Rebel Missions Game?
A few weeks ago I reviewed Star Wars: Rebel Missions after finding the game at ToysRUs. A great little co-op boardgame at a low price, I highly recommend the Star Wars: Rebel Missions game to everyone . . . if you can find it!
Seriously, what is up with this game? An Amazon search for “Rebel Missions”* doesn’t show anything, there is currently no BoardGameGeek entry for the game, and even the official Wonder Forge site doesn’t list the game.
What gives, world? How is it I’m the only one with any concrete info or pics about the game online? Sure there’s the Wonder Forge PDF press release, and a news post here and there from February, but now that the game has been released I expected to see more about it online.
This game is far, far too good to not be treated better online. I still say it is an awesome introduction to the world of co-op games, so parents who love games need to go out now and buy a copy and start chatting about it online. We need this game to be a hit this holiday season so that Wonder Forge keeps sinking resources into designing good games for a younger audience. There are not enough fantastic games for your kids on the shelves!

I noticed that too. I was hoping it was just taking a while to hit more stores. I’d looked it up on BGG when you posted your previous article on the game–totally perplexed as to why it’s still not on there!
@Jay – It’s possible none of the BGG regulars have even noticed the game yet. I went to submit it, but the process is more complicated than it once was and I just don’t have the time to chase down things like box measurements.
I have been seeing the add-on packs for a few weeks. I only saw the base game this week. Maybe other areas are having strange distribution too.
@mazintotoro – There are expansions? I had no idea. Time to start searching.
Where did you see the expansion packs?

@matt – Thanks, Matt! That’s the first place I’ve seen the game offered online.
