What is Happening with the “Toy Masters” Documentary?
As part of preliminary work on Killer Toys — my planned book about the Kenner action figures of the seventies, eighties, and nineties — I have been reading through various books about toys and trying to formulate a rough outline and overall goal for Killer Toys. And as I go through my collection of books about toys I find myself holding Mastering the Universe* . . . which immediately reminds me:
“There’s a Masters of the Universe documentary in the works.”
Unfortunately, the Toy Masters website proves to be of no help when I check for news on the project. Worse, the Toy Masters YouTube account shows no videos at all and the last Twitter update was over a month ago. A post at MTV Geek last month gives us some info on the status of the film, but the loss of video on YouTube has me wondering about the documentary’s potential release.
Fingers crossed here, because I would hate for this documentary to never see release.
I’ve been eagerly waiting for this documentary as well. Did we hear anything about it at Powercon?
I too have eagerly been waiting on this doc.
