Will Kickstarter Change Hollywood?

Kickstarter is changing things, yes, but can it change Hollywood? This PBS video discusses Kickstarter and how fans are giving indie filmmakers the chance to create films . . . and how Hollywood studios may step in and overwhelm Kickstarter with a variety of fan-requested projects. I don’t quite agree, and the video doesn’t seem to settle on one side or the other of the question, but when PBS starts discussing Kickstarter then we know that bigger companies cannot be far behind.
