It seems as if the Micro Machines mini-playset concept just had to be used for every toy line back in the 90s, and this one takes it a step beyond by trying to combine Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robot action with an opening playset piece.
And checkout how the kid runs around and interacts with the toy. What was there, a toy commercial playbook in the 90s that commanded toy commercial directors to use the lamest effects and ideas they could find?
I never had this, but I remember feeling that I could make good use of one if my parents got it for me.
I like how the first two shots of the characters are pictures of the much larger Toy Biz action figures. Misleading much? You bet ya!
