X-Wing Imperial Raider Out of Stock at Fantasy Flight Games
I was checking out articles on the X-Wing miniatures game (Amazon.com search*) when I noticed an interesting bit of information: the official FFG webpage states that the massive Imperial Raider is out of stock and waiting for a reprint.
That’s amazing for three reasons:
- First, that the Imperial Raider miniature was even produced. This $100 monster is a work of art, and in looking at the size and quality I can’t see how it was anything but pricey to create.
- Second, that this giant ship managed to sell through an entire run in roughly five months. That’s a lot of Imperial Raiders out in the world on a very fast timeline.
- Lastly, that even with so many Imperial Raiders already in the world the demand for the game — and this giant ship — is so high that it’s on schedule for a reprint.
Awesome work on the game, FFG. If anyone out there missed the Imperial Raider and doesn’t want to wait for a reprint I suggest checking your local stores now. I also see that Amazon.com still has it in stock*, but we don’t know if it will remain in stock until the reprint arrives. All depends on demand and how many Amazon.com is sitting on.
